HYROX Dubai runs on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 November 2026 at Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City Dubai. The nearest Metro stop is Expo 2020 (R76), a few minutes’ walk away. Friday has the men’s races, both pro divisions and mixed doubles. Saturday has the women’s, other doubles and relay races.

We read the official event page and HYROX’s race-format page on 31 October 2026. The race times on it are marked provisional, so treat every time below as open to change. Where the pages say nothing, we say so.

Dates, venue and race schedule

Dubai Exhibition Centre sits on Boulevard 2020, Madinat Al Mataar, inside Expo City Dubai. Provisional times for each division, from the event page, are below.

Each division gets a time range, and the page does not explain how the ranges split into start waves. Individual start times arrive about three days before the event. Start time changes are not permitted.

What the race involves

According to the race-format page, HYROX is eight 1 km runs, each followed by one workout station, held indoors. Everyone runs the stations in the same order. Your division sets the loads.

Station Women Men Pro Women Pro Men
1. SkiErg 1000 m 1000 m 1000 m 1000 m
2. Sled Push, 2 x 25 m 102 kg 152 kg 152 kg 202 kg
3. Sled Pull, 2 x 25 m 78 kg 103 kg 103 kg 153 kg
4. Burpee Broad Jump 80 m 80 m 80 m 80 m
5. Rowing 1000 m 1000 m 1000 m 1000 m
6. Farmers Carry, 200 m 2 x 16 kg 2 x 24 kg 2 x 24 kg 2 x 32 kg
7. Sandbag Lunges, 100 m 10 kg 20 kg 20 kg 30 kg
8. Wall Balls, 100 reps 4 kg 6 kg 6 kg 9 kg

Sled weights include the sled itself. Open is the standard race. Pro adds heavier loads. Doubles partners run together and split each station as they choose, using the loads of their category. A relay team has four people, and each one does two 1 km runs and one station.

Tickets, Flex and refunds

Athlete and spectator tickets are sold through the UAE HYROX ticket page that the event page links to. No prices appear on the event page, so we cannot say what a ticket costs.

  • Flex Add-On: a name change up to one day before race day, a full refund up to 31 days before, and a 50% refund up to 7 days before.
  • Flex Lite: a name change only.
  • Neither is sold with spectator tickets, and Flex Add-On cannot be added after the first purchase.
  • For the 2026/27 season there are no transfers to other events and no division changes.

Name changes go through the athlete’s HYROX account by 7:59 am event time on the day before the race. By our count, 31 days before a Friday race is 27 October, so the full-refund window had closed when we read the page. A 50% window ends on 20 November for a Friday race and 21 November for a Saturday one. Both dates are our sums from the page’s rules, so check your confirmation email.

Check-in and race day

On race day you need ID, and nobody may check in on another athlete’s behalf. You can only check in on the day you compete.

  • On-site registration opens for each division 90 minutes before its first start wave.
  • The date, time and place of early athlete registration are still “To be Announced”.
  • Finishers get a patch, a live leaderboard result, split timings and age group awards.
  • Photos reach Sportograf about 48 hours after the race, found with a selfie.

Spectators buy tickets on the same page. Those who want to enter the hall before their check-in window go through the Spectators Desk with a ticket and ID. Age group ceremonies follow once every athlete in that division has finished.

Getting to Dubai Exhibition Centre

Expo 2020 Metro station (R76) on the Red Line extension is a few minutes’ walk from the hall, the official page says. Our Dubai Metro fare guide covers what the ride costs.

Drivers reach the venue from Expo Road (E77) and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311), and parking is available, though the page does not say what it costs. Taxis work too. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible, with step-free access, lifts with low-level buttons, accessible restrooms, tactile flooring and braille signage.

What UAE residents are asking

The Reddit threads we found include newcomers weighing solo against doubles. One Abu Dhabi resident, looking for a doubles partner, explained why Dubai came next.

“Unfortunately, I feel like that’s a bit too soon for me to properly prepare, so I’m eyeing the Dubai event instead.”
– r/FiloCommunityinUAE, October 2026 (8 upvotes)

A reply to the same request on r/abudhabi said the poster’s training already looked enough to go solo.

“With that amount of training, I’d say you’re absolutely “ready” for solo in terms of getting through it. Just depends on whether you’re going to aim for a specific time, or just set the bar for next time.”
– r/abudhabi, October 2026 (1 upvote)

Those are two comments, not a survey. Doubles splits the stations between partners, as the race-format page confirms.

HYROX Abu Dhabi has already happened

The race in Abu Dhabi ran from 23 to 25 October 2026 in Halls 7 to 10 of ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, according to the ADNEC event listing. Friday was women only. We did not find next year’s Abu Dhabi dates in the pages we read, so the Dubai weekend is the one to plan around. If you are building a wider fitness calendar, see our Dubai Run guide for another event in the city.

What the official pages do not say

Ticket prices, the early registration date and place, and the venue parking charge are all missing. We left them out rather than guess.

The page lists the laps to run and the relay briefing as still to be announced. Reread it nearer the date, because HYROX says race information will be added as the event approaches.
