Fix Dubai Chocolate: Where to Buy It, Price and Fake Warnings

Fix Dubai chocolate is made by FIX Dessert Chocolatier, founded in Dubai in 2021 by Sarah Hamouda and Yezen Alani. In January 2025 the founder said the bars were sold in Dubai and Abu Dhabi only through Deliveroo. Since then a Dubai Duty Free pop-up has opened, and readers name other outlets, so the answer has moved.

We read the Kaspersky warning, Gulf News, Emirates247 and CNN coverage on 31 October 2026, along with recent r/dubai threads. We could not read a current price list or channel list from the brand. Each gap is marked below.

Where to buy Fix chocolate in Dubai

Three routes are documented. Each source carries a different date. Check which one is still current before you travel or order, because we could not read a list from the brand.

  • Deliveroo: in a Kaspersky press release dated 21 January 2025, Hamouda said FIX was exclusive to Deliveroo in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. A Deliveroo UAE director said the same.
  • Dubai Duty Free: Gulf News reported, in a page last updated 26 May 2025, that a FIX pop-up opened on 15 May at Terminal 3, Concourse B, selling the full range.
  • Reader reports from 2026: a June commenter said FIX has its own stall in the Terminal 3 departures area, and an October poster found the bars on the Careem Quik app.

We could not confirm that the Deliveroo exclusivity still holds. The reader reports are single comments. Look for the listing inside the app itself before you pay. For the airport side, our Dubai Airport Terminal 1 guide covers airlines, Metro and parking at that terminal.

How much Fix chocolate costs

We found no current AED price from the brand. The figures we do have are dated or come from readers. Treat them as a range rather than a rate.

  • CNN reported in 2024 that a 200 gram bar sold for $20 through Deliveroo, with orders capped at 500 a day.
  • One June 2026 r/dubai commenter paid AED 80 at the airport stall, quoted below.
  • Another commenter in a separate thread said the duty free price is slightly higher than the delivery price.

“I tried the og Fix Pistachio Kunafa chocolate at DXB T3 departures for AED 80 and quantity wise it was great but taste and pricing standpoint I found the Noon Big Daddy Pistachio Kunafa chocolate variant to be much better and crunchier than Fix”
– r/dubai, June 2026 (10 upvotes)

That is one receipt and one taste opinion rather than a price list, and we have not tasted any of the bars ourselves.

Is Fix the original Dubai chocolate?

Press coverage ties the viral bar to FIX. CNN profiled Hamouda in 2024 as the woman behind it, and Emirates247 reported on 24 October 2026 that Sheikh Hamdan had named FIX a Dubai-it Award winner in the business category.

Copies followed quickly, and CNN noted that the shortage had filled online retail platforms with inspired bars, which Hamouda said she was flattered by.

Fake websites and fake bars

Kaspersky found fake sites in January 2025 that copied Deliveroo and FIX, where shoppers paid for orders that never arrived. Its advice was to check URLs and domain names, and to buy FIX only through Deliveroo’s official platform.

Many look-alike web addresses are still in circulation. When we opened fixdessertchocolatier.com on 31 October, it was a domain parking page with advertising links, not a shop. We could not tell which of the other web stores belong to the brand, so we do not link them.

Fake bars are a separate problem. In a 30 October r/dubai thread, a poster said a box bought at a Dubai Mall shop tasted wrong and looked different from bars ordered through an app.

“we bought a box of 7 bars and when we got home she immediately thought they were fake due to the taste and minimal filling.”
– r/dubai, October 2026 (50 upvotes)

This is one buyer’s claim. We have not seen the bars. The shop’s side is not in the thread, so we do not name it.

Checking a seller before you pay

Kaspersky’s January 2025 advice for shoppers comes down to four habits, and each one costs nothing to follow before you hand over card details.

  • Check the URL, the domain name and customer reviews before you buy.
  • Treat unsolicited offers from pop-ups, ads or emails with suspicion.
  • Enter personal and payment details only on secure, verified platforms.
  • Use security software that can block phishing sites.

If you think you bought a fake

A highly upvoted reply in that thread told the poster to complain to the shop first, then report it to Dubai Economy and Tourism. Another commenter advised keeping receipts and photographing the packaging.

A Gulf News guide, last updated 3 October 2026, sets out the official route.

  • Call the consumer rights line on 600 545 555, or file online through the consumer rights website.
  • You typically need a valid invoice from a Dubai-licensed business, and the seller must hold a Dubai trade licence.
  • Staff contact you within two working days, and the process generally takes four to ten working days.

The guide does not describe a process for counterfeit food. It says only that the service excludes counterfeit cosmetics. Ask the call centre whether a fake chocolate bar is covered before you rely on it.

What we could not confirm

Four points stayed open after our reading, and we left them out of the answers above rather than guess at them.

  • The brand’s current list of authorised sellers in the UAE.
  • A current AED price for a single bar.
  • Whether the Careem Quik listing is authorised by the brand.
  • Which web store, if any, is the brand’s own.
