For a UAE visit visa price, the government fee list depends on the issuing authority. GDRFA Dubai lists AED 200 for a 30-day single-entry tourist visa, plus 5% VAT and no security deposit. ICP lists AED 100 to apply, AED 100 per month of single entry and an AED 100 smart services fee, with a refundable guarantee on top.
On 19 October 2026 we read the GDRFA Dubai single-entry tourist visa page, its multiple-entry page and the ICP visa issuance page, which has a drop-down of six categories. We applied for nothing. Neither authority prints a total, so every sum below is our own arithmetic. This is general information, not immigration advice.
| Route | What the fee list says | Total printed |
|---|---|---|
| GDRFA Dubai, single-entry tourist visa | 30 days AED 200; 60 days AED 300; plus 5% VAT; no security deposit | No |
| GDRFA Dubai, multiple-entry tourist visa | 30 days AED 300; 60 days AED 500; plus 5% VAT; no security deposit | No |
| ICP, tourism establishments and relatives or friends | Application AED 100; issuance AED 100 per month single entry, AED 200 multiple; smart services AED 100; guarantee AED 1,000 single, AED 2,000 multiple; guarantee deposit fee AED 20 | No |
| ICP, study, residency without employment, work categories | Application AED 100; issuance AED 100; smart services AED 100 | No |
UAE visit visa price in Dubai: the GDRFA list
GDRFA Dubai prices its tourist visas by length and entry type. The single-entry page gives AED 200 for 30 days and AED 300 for 60. The multiple-entry page gives AED 300 and AED 500. Both add 5% VAT.
On the single-entry page, a 30-day visa comes to AED 210 with VAT, by our arithmetic. Both pages say there is no security deposit on this type of visa.
Extra fees apply if the sponsored person is already inside the UAE: a Knowledge Dirham of AED 10, an Innovation Dirham of AED 10 and an in-country fee of AED 500. Both pages warn that the total may vary with circumstances.
The pages list a photo, a passport copy, a passport valid for at least six months, an onward or exit ticket and valid health insurance. Expected completion is 48 hours. The single-entry page adds that only accredited tourism offices in the emirate can issue this visa.
The ICP list for the federal route
ICP’s visa issuance page lists the same fee block for tourism establishments and for relatives or friends. A single-entry month costs AED 100 to issue, a multiple-entry month AED 200, and both add the AED 100 application fee and the AED 100 smart services fee.
One month of single entry therefore adds up to AED 300 before the guarantee, by our arithmetic. ICP prints no VAT line.
The guarantee is AED 1,000 for single entry and AED 2,000 for multiple entry. The terms say it may be refunded on request after the visa is cancelled or the visitor has left, provided no residency violation was committed. An AED 20 deposit fee is listed separately.
The visa allows 30, 60 or 90 days, and ICP may extend it so that the total stay stays within 120 days. A friend or relative visa needs a sponsor earning at least AED 4,000 for first-degree relatives, AED 8,000 for second and third degree, and AED 15,000 for friends. Our tourist visa extension guide covers the extension step.
Where agency prices disagree
The guides near the top of this search quote higher figures than either authority, and what you pay changes with each of them.
- safeledger.ae puts a 30-day tourist visa at AED 350 to 400 and a 90-day multiple-entry visa at AED 900 to 1,200.
- albarontourism.com quotes AED 399 for 30 days and AED 599 for 60 days as all-inclusive prices.
- dudigitalglobal.com gives AED 252 plus 5% VAT for a 30-day single-entry visa and AED 352 plus VAT for 60 days, and credits GDRFA Dubai. The GDRFA page we read says AED 200 and AED 300 plus VAT.
- oravisa.com splits it into AED 300 to 350 of government fees and AED 100 to 250 of service charges.
Two of these call government fees non-refundable. The ICP guarantee is a separate line that its terms treat as refundable on request, so ask an agency whether it collects and returns it. Treat the authority pages as the baseline, and if you buy through an agency, ask it for an itemised quote.
What we could not confirm
Several points stay open after our reading, because neither authority prints a total, we paid for nothing, and the pages we read leave the guarantee and VAT questions unanswered.
- The ICP total with VAT, if any applies.
- Whether the guarantee is collected for every visit visa, and how fast it is refunded.
- Why dudigitalglobal.com shows AED 252 where GDRFA lists AED 200.
- GDRFA Dubai’s price for a 90-day visa.
- Which emirates use the ICP list beyond Dubai’s own GDRFA route.
- What agencies legitimately charge on top.
